Towie star Billi Mucklowe and footballer Andy Carroll have announced they are going through a divorce after two years of marriage.
Billi, 36, and Andy, 35, married in 2022 in a lavish Hampshire wedding at the Four Seasons hotel.
Just two years after the pair tied the knot, the couple has now announced they are divorcing, with sources suggesting the duo had ‘grown apart’.
Andy announced in a statement: ‘Billi and I have privately separated earlier this year and we are under way with our divorce proceedings.’
‘It has been a hard few months for our family and we continue to move forward amicably for our children.’
A source also told The Sun: ‘Andy and Billi care about each other a lot and have made some great memories together, but decided it was best for the family if they went their separate ways having grown apart.
‘They’re still focusing on the kids and being the best parents they can be and being respectful of each other.
‘They want the process to be straightforward for everyone involved. Andy has been throwing himself into his football.’
The couple first began dating 11 years ago after meeting in the summer of 2013 and got engaged in 2014.
The pair share three children together Arlo, eight, Wolf, five, and Marvel Mae, two. Andy is also father to children Emilie Rose, 12, and Lucas, 11, from a previous relationship.
Billi first found fame on The Only Way is Essex in 2011, but quit reality TV after just two years to run a Bikram yoga studio in Essex.
Andy is a striker for Bordeaux but at the peak of his career played for Liverpool and Newcastle United.
Ahead of their wedding two years ago, Andy was pictured asleep with a woman, who later identified herself as Taylor Jane Wilkey, on his bed. Taylor has since claimed nothing happened between them.
Reacting after her selfies went viral, she told The Sun: ‘It was all just a bit of entirely innocent fun,’ adding: ‘I didn’t sleep with him, it wasn’t like that, there was three of us in the room.’
Taylor claimed that ‘Andy was steaming’ and got into bed at the hotel where he ‘passed out’ while the women remained in his room until the early hours and ‘took the photo as a joke’.
‘Nothing sexual happened. It was just a bit of banter,’ she reiterated adding: ‘At the end of the day nothing happened that should ruin his relationship. It was just a bit of fun.’
