Equestrian enthusiasts could soon be able to purchase supplies from a new retailer in Airdrie – if North Lanarkshire Council approves a planning application.

Josh Horse and Pet Supplies has requested permission for a change of use at its current office in the town centre’s Upper Mill Street.

The application notes that minimal waste will be generated by this new form of operation as all packaging received from deliveries will be reused to post out online orders, with a private contractor hired for any collections which are required.

Properties in the vicinity of the site have been notified of this application and further related documents are available for viewing and comment on the council’s website.

The reference number is 24/00904/FUL and you can find out further details by visiting the council’s website.
