Former glamour model Katie Price may have swapped the rainy UK for a sunnier climate but her recent Instagram post is full of murky comments.
The reality TV icon shared on her social media account this weekend that she has jetted off on another holiday despite being declared bankrupt earlier this year and owing more than £760,000 in unpaid tax.
But while Katie, 46, appears to be having a wholesome time with her boyfriend, Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, 32, and eldest son Harvey, 22, fans have concerns.
After sharing a photo of her wearing a tie-dye hoodie with ‘Love’ written on it and shorts in the same material, her 2.7 million followers were quick to take to the comment section to point out a potential Photoshop fail.
‘What is going on with the legs 😮’ catpat78 wrote.
‘The editing on this 😂😂😂😂😂 the legs the eyes…’ Tinkerbelleme added. While alisonking602 commented: ‘What’s happened to your leg…’
Lou_lou_42_ added: ‘What’s happened to your leg.. looks abnormally thin’.
The comments refer to Katie’s right leg in the image, which appears to be significantly smaller than her left, indicating that she may have edited the picture to make herself look slimmer.
Despite the questions, some fans defended Katie, with kerrimarie82_ writing: ‘Don’t think any editing has been done to be fair or the tattoos would be disconnected. She just has really thin legs’.
While hay_3112 commented: ‘For all those commenting on her leg it’s a tattoo if u zoom in not a bit missing 🙄’.
The star’s holiday comes after a judge warned her not to go on any more holidays if they would prevent her from attending mandatory court hearings relating to her bankruptcy.
Katie failed to attend a court hearing in August relating to her case as she was in Turkey undergoing her sixth facelift surgery, which was estimated to have cost £10,000.
The star was arrested at Heathrow airport when she returned to the UK but has since spoken out, maintaining that she did not leave the country for a mental health break but rather to work on a documentary about corrective procedures.
She also said that she takes the proceedings ‘seriously’, previously denying ‘running away’ from her problems.
Katie, who was first declared bankrupt in 2019, was released on bail and has made court appearances since.
Her most recent appearance, which was scheduled for the end of August and would have seen her questioned by barristers in a specialist bankruptcy court, was postponed after her team of lawyers petitioned for a ‘private interview’.
Bertie Beor-Roberts, for Katie, said: ‘We are asking the court to adjourn the examination generally. The general purpose is to permit Price to attend a private interview with the trustee and then to continue to engage constructively.’
He added that the star ‘accepts that things have not gone as smooth as they might have done to date’ but that the case was ‘very complex’.
