A motorcyclist has died in a horror crash on the M74.
Emergency services rushed to junction 13 at Abington following a crash involving a black Harley Davidson motorcycle and a blue Ford Focus at around 6.40pm on Friday, September 27.
The 45-year-old rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car did not need medical treatment.
Police are appealing for information and anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
Sergeant Andrew Coutts said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died.
“Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.
“We also ask anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
