Pop star Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce are still dating despite the singer’s absence at the last two Kansas City Chiefs games, according to a report.
Kelce and the Chiefs narrowly defeated the Los Angeles Chargers, 17-10, in a divisional road matchup on Sunday with Kelce tallying 7 catches and 89 receiving yards, surpassing Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez as the franchise’s all-time receptions leader.
However — similar to the week prior in Atlanta — Swift was once again not in the stands cheering on Kelce and Kansas City. The team is one of three undefeated squads ahead of tonight’s double dose of Monday Night Football.
Kelce’s impressive statline came days after former ESPN analyst Todd McShay blamed Kelce’s slow start (8 catches, 69 yards) and perceived lack of condition on his busy offseason.
The criticism added more speculation to the couple’s status and led Kelce’s teammates to wear supportive t-shirts before Sunday’s game while Jim Nantz and Tony Romo defended him from the CBS broadcast booth.
While some fans worry the couple could be headed for a split, a source told TMZ it’s all a logistics issue as Swift rehearses and prepares to go back on tour in mid-October, starting with several dates in Miami.
The Chiefs will next host the New Orleans Saints Oct. 7 on Monday Night Football, but it’s unclear if Swift will be in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium.
