CEDAR PARK, Texas — Nearby residents were evacuated Tuesday afternoon as crews battled a structure fire in Cedar Park.
The Cedar Park Police Department said it was on the scene assisting the Cedar Park Fire Department with an active fire on Zilker Drive near the Parke Shopping Center.
“We are evacuating nearby neighbors while crews work to get the fire under control and extinguished,” police said in a social media post around 1:40 p.m. before confirming the fire was out and the scene was safe about 40 minutes later.
