A massive statue of a naked ex-President Donald Trump that was erected on a highway near the Las Vegas Strip has mysteriously vanished.

The 43-foot-tall dummy depicted Trump standing up with both arms out in front of him and held up by strings attached to a construction crane.

It stood alongside Interstate 15 just north of Las Vegas for most of Saturday and Sunday, sparking conversation among in-person onlookers as well as the Internet.

The Trump installation that is part of the ‘Crooked and Obscene Tour’ is built from foam and rebar and weighs about 6,000 pounds.

It ‘is intentional, serving as a bold statement on transparency, vulnerability, and the public personas of political figures’ and aimed at generating conversation on ‘transparency – or lack thereof – in politics, challenging viewers to think critically about political influence’, organizers told The Wrap.

But less than 48 hours after it was unveiled, the statue has disappeared.

Organizers said the statue will make stops at other locations in the US but the details were not immediately announced.

They have so far achieved their goal of creating a buzz around it ahead of the November election.

The Nevada Republican party has stated that it ‘strongly condemns’ the effigy.

‘While families drive through Las Vegas, they are forced to view this offensive marionette, designed intentionally for shock value rather than meaningful dialogue,’ stated the party.
