Police arrested a man after being allegedly caught in possession with a knife.
At around 9pm on Friday, September 27, officers from the Priority Policing Team at Wishaw stopped a 40-year-old man allegedly in possession of a lock back knife on Orbiston Drive, Bellshill.
The male was arrested and charged with possession a bladed article in public and will be appearing at court.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Information from the public is crucial to our work and we would urge anyone with information about weapon carrying in their local community to contact Police Scotland on 101.
