Police said the man shoved the elderly customer at least three times during an attack in September.

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police need help finding a man they say shoved an elderly customer multiple times inside Central Market.

According to police, the incident happened on Sept. 11 at the Central Market on North Lamar Boulevard in Central Austin.

Police said the suspect aggressively shoved the elderly man to the ground, then pushed him two more times after he got up.

Police described the man as being between 35 to 45 years old, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing between 175 and 210 pounds. He had long, black hair that was about ponytail length with a full, dark beard and no visible tattoos.

Anyone with information on the assault is asked to contact Capital Area Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477 or by visiting its website. A reward of up to $1,000 is available for any information that leads to an arrest.
