Amazon has cut the price of the Nestle Big Biscuit Box yet again, ideal for shoppers with a sweet tooth.
The bumper pack of tasty treats can now be snagged for just £19.93, bringing the cost of each of the 69 chocolate bars inside down to a mere 28p.
The goodie box is down from £21.78 and features five delicious chocolate varieties – KitKat Original, KitKat Dark, KitKat Orange, Toffee Crisp and Blue Riband. It is also available from several other vendors such as Viking Direct for £24.49 and on eBay for £21.49, MyLondon reports.
At a hefty 1.63kg, about 3.6 pounds, the box is an even sweeter deal with a subscription on Amazon Prime. Set up recurring deliveries, and the price per box drops to £17.94 rather than its original tag.
Tom Capon from MyLondon couldn’t hide his excitement over the purchase. He exclaimed: “Seeing 69 chocolates in a gorgeous big box was so delightful I did a little squeal.”
He further revealed: “Obviously, I can’t resist sticking my hand in this big pot of honey and pulling out one of every flavour, so two months will do. Yes, I’m so convinced I’ve signed up for a biscuit subscription service. I will not be shamed by this. It’s incredible.”
With an impressive 4.5-star rating on Amazon from 671 reviews, customers have clearly been satisfied with their purchase. One happy shopper: commented: “Quality is good, good amount of each bar so good variety. No chocolate bars with white marks so all good chocolate colour. Box size good. Bought three boxes so far, will buy again when run out.”
Another satisfied customer shared: “Bought twice recently to thank the hospital ward that cared for my mum and my school colleagues who supported me. Everyone loves chocolate, so what better way to say thank you?
“Individually wrapped, so biscuits stay fresh, not that they lasted that long. Much-loved brands that everyone knows. Delivered to my door the next day. Will definitely be buying again when a friend needs a treat.”
A third gushed: “These are great and really worth looking out for when on a deal.”
However, not all feedback was positive, as one dissatisfied consumer noted: “Unfortunately all the biscuits had a really odd aftertaste.. Not pleasant. I will not be purchasing again.”
