US rapper Sean “P Diddy” Combs is facing allegations of sexually abusing 120 victims, including 25 children, with one alleged victim as young as nine years old, according to a US lawyer. Tony Buzbee claims Combs, 54, abused the young boy who was hoping to secure a record deal.
Buzbee also accuses Combs of spiking drinks with a horse tranquiliser. Combs has denied the allegations, which date back to 1991 and come from 60 male and 60 female claimants.
Buzbee, who expects the lawsuits to be filed within the next month, stated: “It’s alarming that this was allowed to continue for so long, leaving a trail of victims who are deeply hurt, fearful, and forever marked by this trauma.”
The alleged abuse of the nine year old boy reportedly occurred at an audition in New York with Bad Boy Records, the label Combs founded in 1993 that launched the careers of notable artists such as Notorious B. I. G. , French Montana, and Machine Gun Kelly, reports the Mirror.
Buzbee said: “This individual was sexually abused allegedly by Sean Combs and several other people at the studio in the promise to both his parents and to him of getting a record deal. Other boys were there to audition as well. All of them were trying to land a record deal. All of them were minors.”
He added that many of the accusers have medical records showing evidence of rape or drugging, with some testing positive for unusual substances, including Xylazine, also known as tranq, a horse tranquiliser. Combs’s solicitor Erica Wolff commented: “Mr Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”
This comes as a disreputable book about his deceased former partner Kim Porter was taken down from Amazon amidst her loved ones condemning the assertions made by the independent publisher that it was a memoir derived from Porter’s journal.
Currently detained in New York following his plea of not guilty to sexual offence charges last month, Combs has had his legal team launch a renewed bail appeal on Monday, in hope of securing his release before the trial commences.
