GEORGETOWN, Texas — The city of Georgetown is offering an incentive for residents to conserve water.
Starting this week, water customers can receive rebates up to $5,000 for various services and projects completed on Oct. 1 or later.
The 2025 fiscal year application process is currently underway, offering a total of $500,000 in rebates compared to more than $304,000 last year.
Applications are processed based on the earliest submissions.
Are you eligible for a rebate?
Georgetown is providing reimbursements for a number of items and projects, including:
- Pool cover and digital hose water timer materials
- Materials and labor for lawn aeration, multi-stream nozzle conversions, Love Your Local Lawn landscaping and smart controller replacement
- Texas Grown tree delivery and materials
- Irrigation system removal
- Irrigation inspection
This information can take a a month to process, and the funding will be shown as a water bill credit.
Residents who receive at least $600 must include this information on their tax forms, and rebates are available until the funds run out.
