Stacey Solomon has reportedly decided to step down from her Channel 4 show Renovation Rescue not long after winning a National Television Award for Sort Your Life Out on BBC.

The beloved TV personality, aged 34, will not return for a second series of the home makeover show which debuted in April and featured Stacey offering a helping hand to homeowners looking to complete their property projects without breaking the bank.

Instead, Stacey is believed to be switching her attention to her successful ventures with the BBC following the triumph of Sort Your Life Out.

A source confided to The Sun: “Stacey had a great time making Renovation Rescue but the fact she isn’t doing a second series allows her to focus on her projects with (the BBC). They’ve been a huge success and the NTA win is evidence that the viewing public love what she does.”

Amidst speculation that Stacey might have bid farewell to her role on ITV’s popular panel show Loose Women, especially after her absence from a celebratory photoshoot for the programme’s 25th anniversary, Stacey dispelled the rumours by sharing a touching video message.

Overcome with emotion, Stacey exclaimed: “Happy birthday to you, Loose Women. I can’t believe you’re 25 years old and I can’t believe I get to call myself a Loose Woman, I’m such a proud Loose Woman! 25 incredible years and so many more to come. Love you loads and loads,” reports Wales Online.

Rumours concerning Stacey’s TV career intensified after she recently announced her intention to scale back her collaboration with the fashion brand InTheStyle, citing a desire to spend more time with family.

The popular presenter has launched several collections with the brand but hinted at severing further business relationships in a sincere message to her Instagram followers.

On revealing her departure on social media, Stacey penned: “Throughout this year I’ve thought a lot about work/family balance and things that have needed to be prioritised. So I’ve decided to say goodbye to InTheStyle and other things so that I can give more of myself back to my family.”

She elaborated on her motivation: “A few things have happened over this year and for us as a family it just feels right me to let go and focus a bit more of myself on our family. It won’t just be InTheStyle. I have been re-thinking lots of things.”

Stacey also took the opportunity to express her deep appreciation for her journey so far: “I feel so lucky and grateful to have been able to live out what I can only describe as my wildest dreams, and that’s just such a huge privilege. One I’ll never take for granted and certainly never forget. But it’s time for a change and a new focus.”

Channel 4 and representatives for Stacey have been contacted for comment.
