(Gray News) – WNBA star Caitlin Clark has officially been named the WNBA Rookie of the Year.
Clark’s team, the Indiana Fever, made the announcement Thursday afternoon in a news release.
According to the team, Clark was just one vote shy of being the unanimous winner.
Clark received 66 out of 67 votes from a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters.
“One of the best rookie seasons ever,” the Indiana Fever wrote in a post on X.
