BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – So many have been touched by the wicked weather which wreaked havoc the final week of September.

This includes the Wade Center, the nonprofit serving anywhere between 30 to 50 children.

It lost all of its milk and refrigerated food.

But McDowell County native, Marvin Woodie and Conn Weld Industries based in Mercer County, WV came to the rescue providing financial assistance so the nonprofit can restock.

Pictured here alongside executive director of the Wade Center, Betty Brainerd is Conn Weld’s Malik Robinson and Anna Semonco.

*Full disclosure, WVVA’s Joshua Bolden is a board member of the Wade Center alongside Marvin woodie.
