BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – A Mercer County group is hosting a Pillow Drive to collect new pillows for people who are working to help affected communities in Tennessee and Western North Carolina.
The Mercer County Coalition for Healthy Communities (MCCHC) said they are holding the Pillow Drive to give much needed comfort and rest for people working in these affected area. The MCCHC specifically asks for new pillows only.
The goal is to give these responders a place to rest, which the MCCHC said will help their performance and overall well-being.
The Pillow Drive is taking place on Oct. 3 and 4 from 9:30 am- 4:30 p.m. at 215 S Walker Street in Princeton.
