A missing persons probe is underway to try and trace a Scots schoolboy who vanished after class this afternoon. Ted Christie was last seen at around 3.15pm.
The 12-year-old was reported missing from Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire, today and Police Scotland has said officers want “to make sure he is safe and well”.
Releasing a picture of the youngster and appealing for information, the force said: “Officers are appealing for the help of the public to trace a 12-year-old boy reported missing in Alexandria.
“Ted Christie was last seen around 3.15pm on Thursday, 3 October, near Christie Park in the town.” Ted is said to be around 4ft 8ins tall and of slim build.
He has short brown, spiky hair, and when he was last seen he was wearing black crocs, navy blue jeans, and a black Nike hoodie with a red logo.
Inspector Kirsty Moore said: “It is important that we trace Ted as soon as possible to make sure he is safe and well. I am asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he might be to get in touch with us immediately.”
