SUMMERS COUNTY, W.Va. -If you and your kids are fans of “Hide and Seek” The Summers County Sheriff’s Office is inviting, you to come out and play!
The sheriff’s office will be holding a “community hide-and-seek” event later this month at Camp Summers near Forest Hill.
Law enforcement from a range of departments at the local and state levels will be tasked with finding all the participants, and the last one found wins a prize.
Chief Deputy Tim Adkins tells us that the event serves as a fundraiser for the sheriff’s office’s “shop with a cop” program.
“We are looking forward to a fun event. We are all going to be goofing around and having fun. So, it’s a community bonding experience as well as an opportunity for us to gain money for shop with a cop, so it’s a win win for us.”
The Community Hide and Seek event is set for Monday and Tuesday…October 21st and October 22nd at Camp Summers from 5 until 9 p-m. The cost is 15 dollars for adults and 10 dollars for kids under 16.
Kids must be at least 8 years old to take part.
