Two people were arrested after a drugs bust in Bonhill this week uncovered a “substantial quantity” of class A substances.
Officers, acting on intelligence, searched a property in the area yesterday (Wednesday October 2) – with a two men arrested.
In a statement, Police Scotland said: “Based on intelligence received, officers from the Local Community Team attended at an address in the Bonhill area on Wednesday (October 2) in possession of a drugs search warrant.
“Once within the address, a female and two males were detained.
“A search of the address resulted in the recovery of a substantial quantity of Class A drugs.
“All persons were arrested and, after a subsequent enquiry a 26-year-old male from Dumbarton was charged with being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug and a second male, a 24-year-old from Bonhill, was charged with possession of a Class A drug.
“Local officers and the Divisional Crime Team will be continuing to target local addresses being used for the preparation and sale of controlled drugs in the very near future.”
