In stark contrast to her husband Prince Harry,Meghan Markle has not rushed into publishing a bombshell memoir despite experts saying it could make her millions of dollars – and an insider has spilled the beans on why she’s playing it cool.
Despite Prince Harry’s explosive revelations about the Royal family in his January 2023 memoir ‘Spare’, which made waves with its candid claims about Prince William, Princess Kate, King Charles, and Queen Camilla, Meghan has opted not to take a similar literary path.
Since the release of ‘Spare’, there’s been buzz around whether Meghan might pen her own tell-all. However, she’s been broadening her horizons with ventures like American Riviera Orchard, her lifestyle brand.
But industry insiders hint that Meghan might be biding her time, waiting for the opportune moment to drop her own sensational account, one that could potentially rake in a staggering sum we’re talking “tens of millions” of dollars.
A tipster confided to Closer Online: “The word in publishing circles is that everyone’s mad to land Meghan’s memoirs and the numbers being thrown around are ridiculously high. We’re talking tens of millions for her authorised biography – it’s going to get to the point where she can’t say no.”
This same source emphasised Meghan’s exclusive insight into the Royal household, noting: “And love her or hate her, there’s no denying that she has an insight into the royals that no one else can share.”
An insider has revealed that Meghan has decided to postpone the release of her memoir in an effort to keep the peace, but she remains determined to share her story and it’s only a matter of time before she does. Harry’s relationship with the Royal family, especially his brother William, took a hit after he made serious accusations against some family members in Spare.
This week, Harry was spotted in the UK, beaming at an awards ceremony for the charity WellChild, although it’s believed he didn’t cross paths with any other royals.
Meghan hasn’t been seen on UK soil for over two years since she and Harry were in the country when Queen Elizabeth II passed away in September 2022.
