Princess Beatrice has been pictured for the first time after announcing her latest pregnancy.
The royal was grinning at the camera as she was spotted heading to the Chiltern Firehouse restaurant in Marylebone, central London, last night.
Buckingham Palace announced earlier this week that Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are expecting their second child together, due next spring.
The couple had daughter Sienna, three, in 2021 – but Edoardo also has son Christopher Woolf, known as Wolfie, eight, from a previous relationship.
The statement from Buckingham Palace said: ‘HRH Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring.
‘A sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three.
‘His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.’
Her pregnancy didn’t stop the princess getting glammed up to attend the Chiltern Firehouse’s 10th anniversary party, which was heaving with other celebrity names from Ellie Goulding and Noel Gallagher to Idris Elba and Rachel Weisz.
Beatrice wore a long-sleeved velvet blazer with a cinched waist to the party, paired with wide-leg trousers.
The new addition to the Royal Family would have been the late Queen Elizabeth II’s 13th great-grandchild – but will not be an HRH.
The baby will be born 11th in line to the throne, with Beatrice’s younger sister Princess Eugenie moving down to 12th place.
