Scotland’s best fish and chip shop finalists as national award nominations announced

The top chippies in Scotland have been named, with the finalists for a prestigious award unveiled.

Earlier this week, the nominees for the Scottish Fish & Chip Awards 2024 were announced. The yearly event recognises and rewards the best of the best within the Scottish fish and chip industry.

The top finalist chippies in each region of the country have been named, with dozens of eateries hoping to take home a prize at the grand final this November. Regional winners will be crowned for Central, East, South, West, North, North-West, and North-East Scotland, as well as Ayrshire.

Other categories at the Scottish Fish & Chip Awards include Best Dine In Restaurant, Best Family Business, and Best Fish Tea. There will also be awards given to the Best Team, Best Family Business, and Best Fish Fryer.

The Scottish Fish & Chip Awards 2024 will take place in Glasgow on November 11. See below for the full list of nominees for Best Chip Shop.
