Brooklyn Nine-Nine, one of NBC’s most cherished sit-coms, boasted a top-notch cast that kept audiences hooked season after season.
The series, which was picked up by NBC for its second-to-last season after being axed by FOX, aired from 2013 to 2021, spanning eight seasons and 153 episodes.
The show, available for UK viewers on Netflix, centres around seven detectives and their Captain, Raymond Holt (played by the late Andre Braugher), as they navigate their way through life at New York City Police Department’s 99th precinct.
Three years after the series concluded, fans are keen to know what the various actors of Brooklyn Nine-Nine are doing now. So, let’s take a look at the cast in 2024.
Andy Samberg (Jake Peralta)
Andy Samberg was already a huge star before he appeared on Brooklyn Nine-Nine thanks to his success on Saturday Night Live, reports the Mirror.
Following the show’s end in 2021, Andy has appeared opposite How I Met Your Mother star Cristin Milioti in the critically acclaimed romcom Palm Springs.
He also lent his voice to the Scarlet Spider in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Captain Valentine in the video game Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
Andre Braugher (Captain Raymond Holt)
The late Andre Braugher’s portrayal of Captain Raymond Holt was beloved by fans across the world, even earning him four Emmy nominations.
Before his death last year, he continued his acting career after Brooklyn Nine-Nine by starring as Ri’Chard Lane in the CBS legal drama The Good Fight, and as Dean Baquet in the biographical drama She Said.
The star, who won an Emmy for his role in Homicide in 1998 and another for his work in 2006’s Thief, was remembered by his former co-stars after he died from lung cancer at the age of 61.
Paying tribute to his “irreplaceable talent”, Terry Crews said in a statement at the time: “I’m honoured to have known you, laughed with you, worked with you and shared eight glorious years watching your irreplaceable talent. You showed me what a life well lived looks like.”
Melissa Fumero (Amy Santiago)
After her role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Melissa Fumero starred in the Netflix sitcom Blockbuster, which was cancelled after just one season following a series of poor reviews.
She has also since starred in the comedy film Bar Fight! opposite Rachel Bloom and voiced the role of Melissa Tarleton for the adult animation M.O.D.O.K.
The actress has even added some directing work to her resume, with credits for two episodes of the Freevee sitcom Primo, as well as an episode of both Grand Crew and Gordita Chronicles in 2022.

Actress Stephanie Beatriz has seen plenty of success since leaving Brooklyn Nine-Nine, landing the role of Carla in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s movie musical, In the Heights.
She also starred in 2:22 A Ghost Story on the UK’s West End, playing the role of Lauren from 2021 to 2022.
She’s also been heavily involved in Tejana, Solar, and Wondery’s Twin Flames podcast as both a producer and voice actor.
Terry Crews (Terry Jeffords)
Terry Crews was another big name to join Brooklyn Nine-Nine when it first began, having enjoyed a successful career as an NFL athlete before transitioning into acting and appearing in shows like Everybody Hates Chris.
The star has been hosting major reality show America’s Got Talent since 2019 and also made an appearance in the workplace comedy Space Force in 2022.
His most recent credit on IMDb is Everybody Still Hates Chris, which is an animated sequel show on Comedy Central.
Joe Lo Truglio (Charles Boyle)
Joe Lo Truglio has also enjoyed a successful acting career both before and after Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Some of his most notable performances since the show include the sketch comedy show History of the World, Part II and Mark, Mary & Some Other People.
The actor also made his film directorial debut in 2022 with Outpost, for which he has also been credited as a writer.
Chelsea Peretti (Gina Linetti)
Chelsea Peretti, who is real-life pals with Andy Samberg just as they are in the show, also used to be a writer on Saturday Night Live.
The comedy star left Brooklyn Nine-Nine in season 6, but made a couple of guest appearances after that.
Chelsea has provided her voice for several animated shows and films, including Big Mouth, Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake, Bob’s Burgers and Sing 2.
She’s also married to acclaimed director and comedian Jordan Peele, who is famed for horror films including Get Out and Us.
