A teenager has been rushed to hospital after being found lying injured on a Scots street.
Emergency services raced to Lauder Drive in Rutherglen around 9.20pm on Friday evening, following reports of a ‘disturbance’ involving a group of youths.
An 18-year-old male was found injured at the scene and was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Cops arrested a 14-year-old boy following the incident. Officers say enquiries are ongoing, Glasgow Live reports.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.20pm on Friday, 5 October, 2024, police received a report of a disturbance involving a group of youths in Lauder Drive, Rutherglen. Officers attended and an 18-year-old male was found injured.
“He has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. A 14-year-old boy has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
