Tommy Fury has declared his undying love for Molly-Mae, vowing to fight for her in his first interview since their split. The couple, who had been together for five years and welcomed their daughter Bambi, shocked fans with the news of their breakup after getting engaged last year.
Professional boxer Tommy opened up about his enduring love for his ex-fiancée after months of cheating allegations circulated online.
Speaking to Mail Online, he said: “We were together for five and a half years. You don’t stay with someone, have a child with them, get engaged, if it is only a bit of a fling.”
“It is proper love. Do I still love Molly? 100 per cent. I will love her until my final breath.”
The 25-year-old insisted he is determined to win Molly-Mae back, stating: “I know what I have to do in order to resolve things. And that’s down to me. Nobody else can do that other than me.”
Molly-Mae had previously announced their split on Instagram, saying: “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it is right to share this with you all.”, reports the Mirror.
Allegations of infidelity cast a shadow on Tommy’s reputation, but he staunchly refuted these claims. He has since moved out of the couple’s lavish Cheshire home into a new residence.
Tommy added: “All the allegations that were made of me recently are completely false. The truth will come out in time and when it does I think a lot of people might regret their actions and unkind words. The whole world will, I reckon.”
An upcoming book, ‘Lightning Can Strike Twice’, offers Tommy a platform to chronicle both his professional journey and insights into his relationship with Molly-Mae. Following their separation, an additional chapter is believed to have been penned for inclusion in the book.
