They’re creepy and they’re kooky, and they’re back together as the cast of classic 90shorror filmThe Addams Family stunned fans at Los Angeles Comic Con.
Based on the original Charles Addams comics, The Addams Family was released in 1991 telling the tales of the titular macabre family – including Gomez and Morticia Addams, and their children Pugsley and Wednesday as well as their butler Lurch, Uncle Fester, Grandmama, and Cousin Itt.
The first film – starring Raul Julia, Angelica Huston, Christina Ricci, and Jimmy Workman – sees the Addams reconnecting with who they believe is Uncle Fester, who had been missing for 25 years.
A sequel, The Addams Family Values, was released in 1993 and sees the Addams welcome Pubert, Wednesday and Pugsley’s younger brother, as well as attempt to save Fester (Christopher Lloyd) from his new wife Debbie (Joan Cusack) who is a serial killer in disguise.
And to the delight of Addams Family Fans, Huston, Ricci, and Workman reunited with co-stars Lloyd and Carel Struycken for a panel at the prestigious event.
Lloyd posted a photo of the group together on Instagram, writing: ‘The family that haunts together, stays together…💀🖤.’
They were missing Raul Julia, who played patriarch Gomez in the films, following his death in 1994.
The photo left fans seriously emotional, with many saying the cats and film ‘made their childhood.’
Ilmvfx commented: ‘An insanely talented bunch! The brilliant Raul Julia is certainly there in spirit!’
Ouivirginie added: ‘Amazing!!! 😍👏🏼 Raul Julia there in spirit, for sure! 👏🏼🥹.’
Other fans joked ‘What about Debbie?’ after the chaos she caused the Addams in the second film in the franchise.

Following the live-action films and the successful 1960s and 70s TV series, a spin-off live-action series was released in 1998 followed by a stage musical in 2010 which was nominated for two Tony Awards.
An animated Addams Family film was released in 2019 followed by a sequel in 2021.
Netflix’s spin-off series Wednesday began in 2022 with Jenna Ortega in the titular role and Ricci returning as teacher Marilyn Thornhill.
The series sees Wednesday attend Nevermore Academy and attempt to hone her blossoming psychic abilities while a bloodthirsty monster threatens the school.
A second series of the show is underway but a release date is yet to be announced. Ortega is set to return to her role alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia and Luis Guzman as Gomez.
Fred Armisen, who plays Uncle Fester in the Netflix series, has also been cast in his character’s spin-off show.
