This is the unsettling moment Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was caught on camera during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2011, seemingly telling a young Justin Bieber to remain silent about “the things he does with Puff”. The fallen rapper, who is now 54 years old, appeared alongside Bieber when the pop star was just 16.
Currently in custody, Diddy awaits his trial after facing charges for sex trafficking, transporting individuals for prostitution, and racketeering. Furthermore, he confronts accusations of sexual abuse and violence, all of which he has denied.
The conversation took an awkward turn when Kimmel inquired about the pair’s relationship, asking a then 41 year old Diddy: “What’s going on with you guys? Are you working together? ” To this, Diddy responded: “Nah. I think that we have become friends in a strange way.”
Justin light-heartedly compared their friendship to that of “Rob and Big”, a nod to skateboard celebrity Rob Dyrdek and his bodyguard Christopher ‘Big Black’ Boykin, who starred in an MTV reality show by the same name in the 2000s.
Elaborating on their bond, Diddy added: “I mean, to a lot of us, he’s like a little brother. You know what I’m saying? He’s not afraid to call and ask for advice. He’s somebody that industry-wise, the record industry is a strong family. He’s somebody that we definitely have our arms around and we want to protect him, because he’s such genuinely a nice person besides his talents. He’s one of the greatest kids you could ever know.”, reports the Mirror.
Kimmel humorously suggested to Justin, “You know, Diddy bought his son a Bentley, maybe he can buy you one also while he’s at it.”
Justin elicited laughter from the audience by responding, “He got me a Lamborghini. I haven’t gotten it yet though.”

Pushing for details about the awaited Lamborghini, Jimmy probed, “When is it coming that Lamborghini? We talked about this last time,” leading Diddy to chillingly jest, “He had the Lamborghini for a day or two and he had access to the house. And he knows better than to be talking about the things he does with big brother Puff on national television. Everything ain’t for everybody.”
The Mirror has sought comments from representatives for both Justin and Diddy for more insight into the matter.
Justin, who is currently 30, struck up a friendship with Diddy in 2009 after crossing paths at the VMAs. At this juncture, Justin had been freshly signed by Usher, who previously lived with Diddy during his early days in music.
Usher later recounted Diddy’s guiding role, revealing that the rap mogul initiated him into experiences involving sex, drugs, and alcohol at an inappropriately young age. Speaking to MTV in 2010, Usher expressed that he “wouldn’t pass on any of the advice he gave me.”
