A man has gone viral for his witty two-word response to an angry plane passenger who wouldn’t budge to let others pass to the loo on a flight.

Fred Asquith, a musician originally from Yorkshire, is popular online for his amusing anecdotes, retelling hilarious stories from wedding prep to travel blunders.

The 31-year-old has a loyal following of 370,000 on his social channels thanks to his bite-sized, hilarious commentary, reports Edinburgh Live.

However, it was his recent TikTok tale about a trip to Berlin with his fiance that made people chuckle after the pair accidentally irked a fellow passenger on their flight home.

The video, which has already accumulated over 10,000 likes, features Fred reflecting on how he and his partner – seated by the window on a plane – had to squeeze out to lip to the loo.

However, his grumpy aisle-seat neighbour wasn’t happy with their request.

As the seatbelt light dimmed, the couple got up to head to the loo, requiring the aisle-sitter to stand. Fred narrated: “She’s huffy that we’re pushing past and go for a wee. I come back first and she says to me, ‘Do you think we should wait for your girlfriend to come back before I get up? ‘”.

There’s a heads-up in the post: the clip contains strong language…, reports Birmingham Live.

Fred told the woman there was no need to hold on for his partner, but the stubborn passenger huffed at the thought of shifting again and requested a seat change.

The couple were initially puzzled by her sour attitude – until they seized the opportunity to serve her a dose of her own medicine with a mere two words.

He recounted: “At the end of the flight – one of the best moments of my life. We’re all getting up, getting our bags, the big rush when the plane lands.”

“She’s weaving back through everyone. Excuse me, excuse me. Oh, who’s asking for an excuse now, eh? She reaches me and I say ‘You’re excused.'”.

He quipped in his post that she perhaps “thought she’d booked a private jet”.

TikTok users were left howling with laughter – yet opinions were split on who was actually in the right.

One user joked: “‘You’re excused’ It’s the little victories.”

Another chimed in: “You’re in the wrong here,” while someone else humorously commented: “I need a private jet, planes are too peoply for me.”
