One Direction once appeared to be best mates, but it seems that behind the scenes, things were hostile at times, and one member allegedly pushed another against a wall.
The shock allegation was revealed in 2022 by Liam Payne when he appeared on Logan Paul’s podcast and gave a controversial interview, claiming a fight between him and a bandmate, who he refused to name, became physical.
‘There was an argument backstage and one member, in particular, threw me up a wall. So I said to him, “If you don’t remove those hands, there’s a high likelihood you’ll never use them again.”‘ he said.
Fans have theorised for years whether the person was Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik or Harry Styles, and now it’s finally been answered with Liam’s ex-girlfriend claiming it was Zayn.
Posting on TikTok, Maya Henry, who dated the star between 2018 and 2022, stitched a video that she was tagged in asking her to confirm the person who was allegedly involved in the alternation was Louis, 32.
Telling fans she ‘could not hold this information in any more’, she said: ‘I see this all the time, everywhere, I’ve heard this insufferable story so many times…he told me it was Zayn, so.’
Fans were shocked by the revelation, with the video earning over one million views and thousands of comments.

Other comments included many fans stating they knew it ‘wasn’t Niall’.
The alleged physical altercation was just one of the controversial comments Liam made about his former bandmates during his appearance on the podcast. He also suggested that he and Louis Tomlinson ‘hated’ each other during One Direction fame.
And said of former bandmate Zayn Malik: ‘There’s many reasons why I dislike Zayn and there’s many reasons why I’ll always, always be on his side.’
Maya’s comments come after the popstar sparked concern among fans for his recent behaviour after he attended an Argentina concert of former bandmate Niall, 31.
Appearing in multiple TikTok videos with his girlfriend, TikToker Kate Cassidy fans questioned whether he was behaving erratically as he appeared to almost trip her over multiple times.
He also danced in the background of her short video and was seen holding a laptop and playing music at one point.
Her annoyance was barely concealed as she asked him to describe what he was wearing, to which he whined: ‘I don’t know what I’m wearing!’
Elsewhere, he prompted a split reaction from fans after attending Niall’s show, with some calling him an ‘attention seeker’ after videos showed him hanging over the railing from the box to talk to fans and serenade them as they recorded him.
