Ozzy Osbourne has admitted he is no longer sober amid his recent health issues.

The Black Sabbath icon, 75, had previously been open about his struggles with alcohol and drug addiction throughout his career.

But the musician revealed he has gone back to smoking marijuana and has been ‘tempted to return to stronger drugs’ amid his ongoing health woes.

Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2020, a condition that affects the brain and includes symptoms such as shaking and stiffness.

He has also dealt with neck and back issues following a quad bike accident in 2003, as well as a fall in 2019 which led to multiple surgeries.

‘I am happier, but I am not completely sober. I use a bit of marijuana from time to time,’ he said on his Madhouse Chronicles podcast.

Ozzy praised his wife Sharon, 71, as his motivation to steer clear of harder drugs, saying she ‘kicks his butt all the time’ and would ‘make life so difficult’ if he were to fall into old habits.

‘Even with marijuana she will f*****g find it and get rid of it,’ he continued.

He opened up on trying ketamine following a recent surgery and how it was enough to ‘spark him.’

‘I went to a doctor recently and started to have this ketamine,’ the metal icon said.

‘He put a tiny bit in me, but that was enough to spark me. That thing came back and weighted my brain.’

Ozzy continued: ‘If you are out there and you are using dope and you want to get off, there is plenty of help.

He went on to explain that he no longer attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, but ‘maybe he should’ after they previously ‘got him sorted out to a certain degree.’

It comes after the rocker apologised to Britney Spears after she hit back at his comments about her dancing videos.

‘Can we apologize to Britney Spears?’ Kelly Osbourne said on the Osbournes’ family podcast, as her dad insisted: ‘Britney, I really owe you an apology. I’m so sorry for making that comment.’

Things quickly took a turn when he continued: ‘However, it would be better if you didn’t do the same f*****g dance every day. Change a few movements.’
