Any Scottish holidaymaker who has ever visited far flung countries like Australia and New Zealand will be well aware of the toll a long-haul flight can take.

However, leading travel influencer Tiffany Ma has come up with some tips to make the experience much less uncomfortable.

Tiffany recently shared a video to her 165,000 TikTok followers where she outlines all of the tricks, hacks and useful products that she uses to make a lengthy flight more bearable, and some of them are absolutely genius.

The video has had almost four million views, and scores of grateful comments from fellow travelers who say her tips have helped them.

One of the products she rates is a leg hammock, which lets you easily put your feet up while you try to sleep and supports your entire lower body. The one Tiffany mentions isn’t available in the UK, but there are others available here.

She also suggests a Trtl brand, ergonomic neck pillow and rates it 5/5. You can buy one here.

However, she says the most “life-changing” thing she brought with her for the long air journey was a SariSun 360 neck rest which supports the neck and also acts like a black out eye mask. They’re available on Amazon for £19.99 here.

She actually rated the neck rest 7/5, it was so useful to her. She says she slept for at least 11 hours out of the 22 she was in the air, which is pretty impressive.

Commenters rushed to leave messages thanking Tiffany, who tied the knot with her husband in a fairytale ceremony last week.

The top comment reads: “I had a 20 hour flight and my SariSun was my savior!”

Another person joked: “I’m sure everyone on the plane thought you were crazy!” Tiffany took it well, saying “they definitely looked twice lol”.

Still, if it means you can sleep for 11 hours, looking a bit strange seems like a very small price to pay.
