Conn-Weld in Princeton helping storm victims(wvva news)

PRINCETON, W.Va. -Conn-Weld Industries is based here in Mercer County and its day-to-day mission is to supply custom-designed machined screening equipment.

Right now, the company is doing its part to help our region and its calling on you to help.

Leaders with Conn-Weld tell us they are working to fill one of its trucks with supplies for Helene relief.

The company is setting-up a donation station at 315 Wabash Road in Princeton

from 10 am to 5:30 through Wednesday. They will be collecting items at that location.

In addition, Conn-Weld is partnering with several area businesses, and you can drop off items there.

Those locations are the Lowe’s in Princeton, the Lowe’s in Bluefield, VA as well as the Sam’s club in Bluefield, VA and the Walmart in Princeton.

“Yeah, its’s a lot of us, it’s a lot of our people. It’s the culture here at con-weld. Like I said, it’s not just one individual it’s our mind set here. In addition to all our efforts was in our local community then we wanted to figure out how to reach out to that North Carolina area that really devastated area.”

Conn-Weld tells us on Thursday it will deliver your contributions to Green River Baptist Association in Rutherford County, North Carolina.
