A man has been charged after a raid on a property in Anstruther sparked an armed police response.
Officers attended a property at March Crescent in the twon on Friday, October 4 at around 1:40pm to execute a warrant. A 25-year-old man was arrested and has now been charged in connection with the matter.
He is due to appear in court today, Monday, October 7.
Images show a a number of police vehicles in the street, with officers standing behind a cordon locking down the area. Armed cops were also in attendance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson: “Around 1.40pm on Friday, 4 October, officers attended at a property in the March Crescent area of Anstruther to execute a warrant.
“A 25-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the matter and is expected to appear at court on Monday, 7 October, 2024.”
