BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The West Virginia Department of Health Facilities has announced that Welch Community Hospital has a new office that will offer Outpatient Infusion Services.

The service provides different treatments, including antibiotic therapy, blood and blood products, iron infusions, and more. In addition to the infusion therapies, the hospital offers vital services such as injections, central line blood work, dressing changes, and peripheral blood draws.

The Welch Hospital office is equipped with personal televisions, Wi-Fi, and different books, games, and puzzles.

Patients who require infusion services should have their medical provider reach out to Michelle Dotson, RN, Director of Outpatient Services, at (304) 436-8656 or (304) 436-8652. Once the treatment is approved, Welch Community Hospital staff will work diligently to promptly schedule the infusion.
