An Edinburgh woman has spoken of a “strange” night out with her friends in the capital and urged others to “be careful”.

Taking to TikTok, Leanna Paul, posted a warning to her 300,000 followers after her friend group was allegedly approached and stared at by two males within Coco Boho night club on Saturday night, October 5, reports Edinburgh Live.

Leanna said her group all had their own drinks before one male, who she describes as being around 40-years-old, came over to their table with a drink “identical” to her pal and asked her to “sniff and smell it”.

Leanne claims the man started to claim it was her friends drink before he left and soon returned to leave a different drink on the table.

She also alleges a different “scary guy” stared at the group “giving her the fear”.

Taking to TikTok, she said: “I need to tell you guys the story about last night. I am such a homebody, I never go out but I went out in Edinburgh last night.

“We went out night, we went to a place called Coco Boho and we were all in the best mood. Anyway we get a table and we were enjoying ourselves.

“We have our own drinks and this guy comes over and goes “that’s your drink” to my friend and my friend was like “no, I have got my own drink” but he made it looked identical to hers.

“He was like sniff it, smell it, it’s definitely yours. He then goes away and comes back and leaves a drink on our table. We literally see him do it.

“This guy was about 40-years-old and we thought he was kind of strange. That was one thing so be careful if you are going out because that scared the life out of me.

“We were in a booth and there was this 40-year-old bodybuilder, scary guy, and he was just like leaning and staring at us, and I was like ‘oh my god he is giving me the fear’.

“One of his group came over and start dancing. I was dancing as well but I was like ‘don’t touch me, don’t touch me’. I didn’t say ‘don’t touch me’ I just walked away.

“I don’t mind when someone brushes past me but don’t think that just because I am dancing and you are dancing that you can touch me, like no, leave me alone.”
