Amazon members are saving big on a bulk bag of laundry tablets that provide an effective clean – meaning they don’t have to make many supermarket trips.

The Prime Big Deal Days event is still live today, with major discounts for those with a Prime membership. For those looking to stock up on household essentials, there is a 32 percent discount on an XXL pack of Ariel All-in-One Platinum Pods.

With two packs that contain 60 pods, shoppers will get an impressive 120 washes for just £24.55, down from £36. That essentially works out at just over £12 per each pack, which is one of the best deals on the market in terms of value for price.

For example, at Tesco, a smaller pack of 100 is almost the same price at £22, while at Sainsbury’s a 52-pack is priced at £14. If you were to buy two of the latter, then you’d still end up with only 104 pods for £28 – which means you’d pay more for less compared to Amazon’s deal.

The reason Ariel’s laundry pods are so popular is due to the extra stain removal that can “even remove seven day dried-in stains”. They are also able to remove tough stains on a cool wash, meaning you don’t have to rack up the energy bill to get your clothes thoroughly cleaned.
