As the weather begins to get little bit colder and wetter, it’s safe to confirm that it is time to invest in a decent pair of boots.
One brand we are always obsessed with is Dr Martens, with the footwear firm recognised for is iconic styles and high quality. If you don’t want to go over budget, you’re in luck, as we have spotted one “super comfy” pair on sale for half-price.
The 1460 Smooth Leather Lace Up Boots are currently one of the most popular pairs on the retailer’s website. While they would usually set you back a whopping £169, they have since been dropped to just £84 – saving £85 off the RRP.
Famed for their comfort, these boots have been crafted from a soft leather material that shapes itself around you. In fact, they were a reliable choice among workers who were on their feet all day when they were first made back in 1960.
The design is complete with the signature yellow welt stitching along a chunky grooved platform that is said to be “like walking on air”. A wide rounded toe design air-cushioned sole make them “surprisingly very comfortable”.
It is worth noting that the half-price discount only covers the white colourway of these popular boots. However, we did notice a lot of sizes ranging from a UK three to 13 in stock – with half-sizes also available.
The 1460 Smooth leather Lace Up Boots average a 4.6 rating on the Dr Martens website, with glowing reviews from shoppers for their “super comfy” design that makes them feel like “walking on air”.
One delighted review read: “These boots are the comfiest straight off the block, my daughter who had Docs 30 years ago said” they will be hard to break in”. From day one I have loved them, the leather is so soft, the soles are akin to walking on air. These Docs are quality, brilliant boots that are a great colour think mine is burgundy.
