ARLINGTON, Texas — Award-winning country singer-songwriter Lainey Wilson will perform during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys‘ Thanksgiving Day game this year.
Wilson made the announcement during the Cowboys’ game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday in a video of her practicing a dance with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.
The annual halftime show is part of the Cowboys’ Red Kettle Kickoff Fundraiser done with the Salvation Army.
“You might know me for my bell bottoms, but I want to be known for my bell-ringing too,” Wilson said in the announcement video.
The Cowboys will play the New York Giants at 3:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28, in Arlington.
