A campaign has been launched to bring a stolen dog home to its family.

Belle, a three-year-old English Bulldog, was taken from her owners following an attack in Dalry on Wednesday, October 9.

A 52-year-old man was assaulted on St Margaret’s Avenue near to Merksworth Park when the culprits apprehended Belle and drove off.

Speaking through the charity, Belle’s owners appealed for anyone with any information to come forward so that they can be reunited with her.

“We have no idea where she could be but could be anywhere from Dalry and Beith to Irvine, Kilmarnock or even Glasgow.

“We just want her home. Please, if anyone knows where she is or who has her, please, please do the right thing and hand her in so she can come home.

“She’s a pain in the bum most days but she’s our pain and we are all so heartbroken and miss her sooo much.”
