A 94-year-old gran has revealed the brutal reasons she ended her relationship with her ex-boyfriend and cheekily told fans to “tell your grandpas I’m on the market again”.
Grandma Lillian Droniak, also known as Grandma D, entertains fans with hilarious stories and ‘get ready with me’ videos that she films before attending events like funerals. She is adored for her candid discussions about her love life and even considers herself “a celebrity”.
Earlier this year, she shared some of the sweet gestures her former beau made, such as tucking her into bed and assisting her in hospital. However, the romance was short-lived as she decided to end the relationship. “The only thing I’m serving is a goodbye,” she said while sharing a ‘get ready with me to dump my boyfriend’ video on Instagram.
With over three million Instagram followers and 14 million on TikTok, Granny D disclosed nine reasons for the split, ranging from his eating habits to poor driving skills. The grandmother-of-five, who also has two great-grandchildren, mentioned that her ex even told her to ‘shut up’.
She said: “No one tells me to shut up. That’s me! Don’t let a man ever tell you to shut up because that is not nice.”
She added: “He is a Leo – I should have known. He is a bad driver and I almost got killed so I am not going to sit in the car with him anymore.” Lillian, hailing from Connecticut in the US, expressed her disbelief at her ex’s poor taste in music. “He didn’t even know Taylor Swift,” she remarked.
She also criticised his picky eating habits, saying, “I couldn’t take him anywhere.” She further complained about his close relationship with his ex-partner and his failure to compliment her looks. “I always look good,” she confidently stated.
She added: “His bed didn’t have a headboard. Can you believe that? A grown man.” In her final thoughts, Grandma D boasted: “I slayed more than him and I can’t help it.”
Weeks after the split, the internet sensation seemed to be enjoying her single life. Grandma D declared: “This is my outfit after I dumped my boyfriend. It’s dumping season! D-U-M-P, dump him! Being single is better.
“I’ve never looked prettier. Love ya!”
Granny D had previously listed her top four deal-breakers in men: someone who doesn’t like bingo, doesn’t keep soup in his fridge, doesn’t hold the door open for her, and doesn’t constantly tell her she looks pretty.
