Myleene Klass has confessed that she and her partner Simon Moston are yet to set a date for their wedding as they prioritise family life.

The Loose Women presenter first first met Simon in 2015, when a mutual friend arranged a blind date for them. Myleene knew he was the one when he ordered a burger during their meal.

Despite getting engaged in 2020, the couple haven’t made it down the aisle yet. Myleene, aged 46, explained this is due to their hectic family schedule.

Myleene is a mother to two daughters – Ava, 17, and Hero, 13 – from her previous marriage to Graham Quinn, while she and Simon have a five-year-old son, Apollo.

When asked by Closer magazine about her wedding plans, she responded: “We have a lot of children between us, so at the minute it’s just one of those things that’s rumbling along. I reckon it will just happen.”

She added that the scale of the wedding would be “down to the kids”, with the family having input on the event. The former Hear’Say singer even joked that the children would choose the wedding playlist and she would “just turn up”, reports the Express.

Myleene has been open about her family life, acknowledging that she raised her daughters as a “single mum” for a significant part of their lives. Her personal experiences have led her to become an advocate for women’s health issues.

She has openly discussed her experience of suffering four miscarriages before giving birth to her “rainbow baby” Apollo. This prompted Myleene to support a campaign to amend the Women’s Health Strategy in Parliament.

Previously, women had to endure the heartbreak of three miscarriages before qualifying for medical assistance. However, last year saw significant changes, with testing and advice now offered after each miscarriage.

Myleene Klass, who opened up about her own losses in the BAFTA-nominated documentary ‘Myleene Klass: Miscarriage And Me’, spoke to the PA news agency, saying: “I wanted to use my voice for something really powerful, but it turns out we’ve just gone on to move a mountain.”

She hailed the successful campaign for change as “one of my proudest achievements”, highlighting that other women will be spared the “hell” she endured. She continued: “As a result of having to live through this nightmare, I’ve turned the pain into power and so much good has come from it.”

“My daughter calls them her angel brothers and sisters, it’s like they’ve got a voice. I didn’t want to go through this but I’ve managed to find something that means that so many will benefit from it.”

Myleene: Miscarriage and Me is set to broadcast on BBC One tonight at 10:40pm.
