Police have arrested a third man in connection with the death of David Graham in Uddingston.

The 38-year-old dad from Cambuslang was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but pronounced dead on arrival on the evening of Sunday, October 6 after being attacked while walking in Generals Gate.

Police were called to the scene around 7.35pm that evening following a report of an incident.

A 29-year-old man, Liam Picken appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday, October 10 charged with murder. He made no plea and was remanded in custody.

A second man who is 41 years old was also arrested but was later released pending further enquiries.

Police Scotland have now confirmed that a 28-year-old man has also been arrested in connection with Mr Graham’s death.

Enquiries are continuing.
