ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord Women’s Soccer has been playing some of their best ball to date.
They have won four of their last seven matches and are in control of third place in the Mountain East Conference South Division.
Wednesday afternoon they squared off with a team they don’t see often, if at all, in Point Park in Athens.
This was a very defensive heavy match for most of the time.
Both teams had multiple opportunities to score in different times but only one player was able to knock it in.
Syndey Tucker who has been a staple for the Mountain Lions attack on offense this season, netted the lone goal in the first half to give them the advantage and ultimately win the match.
