Liam Payne‘s last image surfaced, showing the celebrity just hours before his tragic death at age 31.

Reports from local media suggest he may have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Staff at the upscale Casa Sur Hotel made a frantic call to emergency services, pleading for “urgent” assistance.

A hotel receptionist told the operator: “We have a guest who’s off his head on drugs and is destroying everything in his room. We need someone to come.”

After losing the connection, the receptionist voiced further concern: “I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger. The room has a balcony and we are afraid he might do something.”

In a poignant development, the receptionist then said: “Just send an ambulance. Only an ambulance.”

The ex-One Direction member was vacationing in Buenos Aires with his partner Kate Cassidy prior to his untimely demise. Liam met his end after falling from the third floor of a hotel in the Argentinian capital, reports the Mirror.

Following the incident, police, fire services, and medical teams were spotted outside the hotel where Liam tragically lost his life. It is understood that the police were summoned to the hotel due to reports of a man behaving aggressively, possibly under the influence of substances.

A body was discovered in the internal courtyard of a hotel, prompting the hotel manager to alert the police. It’s believed that Liam fell from a height of approximately 13 or 14 metres, sustaining “very serious injuries incompatible with life.”

Meanwhile, Alberto Crescenti, spokesperson for the City ambulance service, suggested he had fallen around 40 metres and suffered “severe injuries which were incompatible with life.”

Reports suggest that Liam had checked into a hotel alone prior to his death.

Alberto Crescenti reiterated that he had fallen around 40 metres and suffered “severe injuries which were incompatible with life.”

He added: “The alarm was raised at 5.04pm local time saying a person was lying in an internal patio at Casa Sur.”
