As the ho-ho-holiday season fast approaches, a Coatbridge venue is preparing to roll out the red carpet for a very special guest.

Summerlee Museum will once again welcome Santa Claus to meet with families this festive season.

Before getting ready to board his sleigh to deliver presents around the world, Father Christmas will be visiting the museum on weekends in December, as well as on December 23 and Christmas Eve.

The venue will host a festive grotto with the chance to meet the elves, chat and take photos with Santa – and receive an extra special gift.

Families are encouraged to make the most of their visit by exploring the free winter play area before or after their grotto visit.

The grotto is priced at £9.50 per child and each youngster can bring up to two adults (free of charge) per ticket.

The winter play area is free of charge and separate to the grotto.

You can book your visit now online.
