For those looking to not break the bank, then Amazon has risen to the challenge with a few nifty deals on top-rated bottles. This includes dropping 24 percent off the Old Pulteney 12 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Praised as “very smooth”, this single malt has become a favourite for its “good depth of flavour”. Right now, a 70cl on Amazon can be bought for just £28.90, while it would usually set you back £38 – meaning you can save just under £10 with the deal.
This 12-year old Scotch has been matured next to the sea in ex-bourbon casks to provide vanilla and spice notes. So, if you’re looking for an autumn and winter pick-me-up in the evenings, this could be your drink of choice.
The medium-bodied flavour boasts notes of green apples, toffee and sea salt. There’s also “subtle” notes of smooth honey, vanilla and spiced fruits to give it a “long lasting finish” that has impressed many whisky lovers.

One glowing review read: “This whiskey is the nicest affordable whiskey available, nothing with a similar price tag comes close. It’s smooth but has a good depth of flavour the salinity really enhances it too.
