Star of Chewin’ The Fat, Karen Dunbar, has included Dumfries in her 24-show tour of Scotland in November.
The comedian, actress, writer and DJ will be the star of An Evening with Karen Dunbar at the Crichton’s Easterbrook Hall on Thursday, November 14 at 7.30pm.
A stalwart of the Scottish comedy scene, she’ll be sharing stories from her life and talking about her career. Audiences can look forward to a heap of humour and jokes.
This is Karen’s third tour with Aberdeen-based promoters Breakneck Comedy which is renowned for bringing top comedians and performers to towns and venues that might not be on the usual tour schedule.
In Chewin’ The Fat, she played instantly recognisable characters including the Lonely Shopkeeper and the Depressed Taxi Caller. Her Olive Actory (“I smell sh*te”) character has become a popular meme.
