Airbeds are some of the most useful bits of kit to have in your cupboard, making it easy to comfortably accommodate guests and ensuring you’ve got a semi-glamping option for the great outdoors. Getting a good-quality one at a reasonable price can be a challenge, but there’s a deal available at Amazon right now that kicks that problem to the curb.

You can currently pick up the Airefina King Inflatable Air Mattress for just £69.99, down from £109.99 . If you don’t need one as large as that, five sizes are available with a price range of £64.98 to £99.99. That said, if you can find the space for it, the king-sized option certainly offers the best value.

This airbed offers the comfort of a premium mattress for just a fraction of the price. With its hassle-free integrated pump, it can be inflated and deflated in as little as three minutes with just one button press. Once it’s up you’ll find it’s no slouch on comfort, either; with 40 internal air coils and a high-tensile composite mesh structure, you can be sure of support from head to toe. On its base is an anti-slip layer that ensures decent grip on even the slipperiest surfaces, and its multi-layer PVC is eco-friendly and waterproof too.

The king-size option has dimensions of 203x152x46cm and a maximum weight capacity of 317kg. Each size option also comes with a travel bag for easy storage and transportation, as well as a pack of repair patches should any misfortune befall them. When packed up, the airbed weighs just 8.8kg, making it a perfect camping companion. If you’re out for a long hike, however you might want to consider a lighter option.

It’s a hit with Amazon customers, with an average rating of 4.2/5 from over 3,000 reviews. “Ease of use was excellent,” said one five-star review. “Inflation, deflation, packing all really quick. Comfortable and convenient. Packs small. Good value for a temporary solution that ticks all the boxes. Seems to be well-made. Slept on it for 4 nights quite happily.”

There’s no shortage of glowing appraisals: “This is one of the best air mattresses I’ve ever used. It combines comfort, durability, and ease of use in a way that truly enhances my experience. If you’re looking for a reliable and comfortable air mattress, this is definitely worth considering!” Another added: “This is a great bit of kit. Dead easy to use, inflates and deflates at pace, fits in carry case utilising very little space and really comfy to sleep on. First class product.”

However, some have highlighted that its electricity-dependent pump means it’s not ideal for camping. “The bed is almost perfect. If it had an alternative way to inflate it would be perfect. I’m unfortunately returning as I can’t guarantee when we go camping that we will have electric hook up,” said one three-star review. Others have said its tall height can be tricky to navigate: “Hubby says it was a bit tricky to get out of, as it is quite high, but as you sit on it, to get out, it dips, so you don’t have enough push to get up, so we now know to have a chair nearby, for leverage.”

If you’re looking for alternatives, Active Era has a similar king-sized airbed for £64.99. Meanwhile, Bestway currently has a TriTech option in king size for £62.99, reduced from £119.99.
