David advises the contestant: “You know what a yellow card is right? It’s when you’ve been naughty but not that naughty. It’s a slap on the wrist. My first guess is Wayne Rooney, my sense of him is he played hard and he’s the card of person who of kind of got a cards.”

The contestant concurs and opts for David’s suggestion. Yet, as uncertainty creeps in, David turns to host Michael, querying: “Is Nicky Butt really famous? “, reports the Mirror.

To this, Michael responds: “I can’t, I can’t speak.” David quips back: “You can’t speak? It’s all you do.” Michael retorts: “I can’t speak at the moment.” David jests: “You never stop” prompting Michael to come back with: “It stops now.”

David and the contestant settle on Wayne Rooney as their final answer, leaving viewers in suspense until the show broadcasts this weekend to find out if they’ve guessed correctly.

The Wheel made a comeback to our screens last weekend, featuring some fresh alterations. The popular BBC show involves members of the public answering quiz questions divided into specific categories for a chance to win cash prizes, with a host of celebrity experts on hand to assist.

However, it’s not as straightforward as it seems, with the wheel spinning and contestants left hoping it will stop on the celebrity that corresponds with their question. The aim is to secure the hot seat by the finale, but producers have introduced some twists for the ongoing fifth series.

In the past, even if contestants answered incorrectly in the final stage, they still had an opportunity to climb back up and play again. However, in this series, they will be permanently eliminated from the show if they get their answers wrong.
