MOMONA, New Zealand (CNN) – An airport in New Zealand is putting the kibosh on long goodbyes.

New signs have been posted in the drop-off area at Dunedin Airport in Momona.

The signs state that people will have just three minutes to hug their loved ones goodbye.

A picture of the newly added signs has since gone viral with some calling the time limit “inhumane.”

However, others thought the policy was a good idea, with some suggesting it should be instituted at other airports.

But for those who do want more time, the airport is directing people to go to the parking lot where they’ll have 15 minutes to say farewell.
